How Todos Juntos Reaches Families: The Center provides four core programs: professionally facilitated English classes for adults, quality Early Childhood Education, "Mi Familia & Me" (MFM) program that focuses on building a parent's capacity to support their child's health brain development, and Saludables Juntos (SJ) our health and wellness program that addresses healthcare enrollment, food and housing insecurity, mental health care, and more by our onsite Social Work team. The Center partners with over 50 local organizations each year to meet families where they're at and meet the needs they have.
Why Todos Juntos' Exists: Todos Juntos was created as a way to reach parents and their children earlier in life when brain development and family bonds are most critical. We exist to connect the disconnected and to create a community where the whole family is supported and engaged.
Our Impact: Last year, Luz (a participant in our ESL and ECE programs) discovered a supportive community at Todos Juntos. Her journey at TJ wasn't limited to language and child development classes. Through our Mi Familia & Me (MFM) program, she found a supportive community that empowered her. "Talking about complex topics like childhood trauma and its long-term consequences was a powerful learning experience for me. These kinds of sensitive subjects allowed me to openly discuss my own experiences and vulnerabilities in a safe space," Luz recalls. Her journey transformed into a brighter future as this year she is coming back to Todos Juntos as a Mi Familia & Me facilitator.
